Our products are purposefully formulated to be vegan. This means we don’t use any ingredients derived from animals.
The number of animal-derived ingredients in cosmetics is staggering and it’s easy to be led into thinking all the products out there that are marketed as natural are plant derived. ‘Natural’ more often means from animal sources than plant sources. Many of the recent skin care trends are based on animal-derived ingredients (think collagen or retinol). Many are marketed as natural, but it’s important to remember that natural simply refers to ingredients that are not synthetically derived.
Le Lapin will never formulate with animal-derived ingredients or by-products, which is why our entire range is proudly Vegan Australia certified.
