An all-natural chelating agent that helps to stabilise the formula and boost the antimicrobial activity of the preservative. One of our little helper ingredients that makes sure products stay the same as when they were first made, constituting just 0.1% of the total ingredients. Products formulated with sodium phytate contain trace amounts of alcohol and so will also have alcohol listed in their ingredients.
